In this tutorial, you will learn how to use SSL to send your emails to Thunderbird and then retrieve it.
SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is used for the secure transmission of data via e-mail.

First download the Thunderbird program from the publisher's site.
Select in the upper navigation bar of Thunderbird the point "Extras" and click on "Account Settings".
A new window will appear in which you click on "Account Actions" in the lower left corner.
An extended menu will open up:
Click here on "Add e-mail account...".
You will now see the following screen:
Fill in the fields as shown.
Your Name: Your Name
Your email address: Your email address
Password: 123456 (was assigned by you when setting up the e-mail mailbox at checkdomain.net/en).
And click on "Next".
On the next screen, select whether you want to set up an IMAP or POP3 account.
Then click on the "Edit manually" button.
Fill in the fields as shown.
Then click on "Create account".
Replace all fields with the information for your e-mail box.
