With this guide, you can check your emails in the Apple iPhone and then retrieve it.
Go to the "Settings" menu item on the start screen.
In the following menu, select "Mail, Contacts, Calendar".
In the next menu, select "Add Account..." to create a new mailbox.
To continue the setup, select the menu item "Other".
To start setting up the e-mail account, select "Add mail account".
In the following field you will find the items name, address, password and description.
In the Name field, enter what you want to be displayed as the name of the recipient of your emails.
For the address, enter your e-mail address and for Password, enter your personal password for the respective e-mail box.
The description is only relevant for retrieving the account settings on the iPhone.
Click on "Save" in the upper right corner to have the data checked.
Here you have to enter your personal data, which is already described in step 6.
The user name can be found in your customer area below the "e-mail inbox".
POP or IMAP can be selected here as account type.
The data for incoming mail server and outgoing mail server are identical, both for the server and for the user name and password.
For a setup with SSL, use the individual server for you, which is displayed in your customer area (hostXX.checkdomain.de) and leave "Use SSL" activated in the following steps.
Tap on "Save" in the upper right corner to check or save the entered data.
Replace all fields, against the information to your E-Mail mailbox.
You can also find this in your customer login under "E-mails -> Server information".
Now you get to the overview of your e-mail accounts which are set up on your iPhone.
Select the mailbox that you set up in the previous steps and edit it.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Advanced".
Check the SSL settings here and change them as shown on the screenshot if necessary.
Now switch back to your mailbox settings and select the following Server for outgoing e-mails "SMTP".
Now select "Primary server".
There change the port to "587".
Your email account on your iPhone is now set up and ready to send and receive emails.
