Email setup for MS Office 2007
In this tutorial, you will learn how to manage your emails in Microsoft Office 2007 (POP3 and IMAP) and then retrieve it.

Select in the upper navigation bar of Outlook the item "Extras" and click on "Account Settings".
You will now see the following screen:
Click here on the "New" button.
The following screen appears:
Check the box "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" here.
Then click on "Next".
A new window will appear in which you can select the type of e-mail mailbox.
Mark the round field in front of "Internet e-mail".
Then click "Next" in the lower right corner.
A new window will appear in which you will be prompted to select all to enter the necessary information about your e-mail inbox.
As user name, use the e-mail login of the e-mail account you used when creating the e-mail mailbox in your customer area on checkdomain.com and the corresponding password.
Then click on "Further settings".
Replace all fields, against the information to your E-Mail mailbox.
You can also find this information in your customer login under "E-mails -> Server information".
A new window will appear.
Please select from the listed tab pages, select the "Outgoing mail server" item.
Set then check the box "The outgoing mail server (SMTP) requires authentication".
Now mark the round button in front of "Use same settings as for incoming mail server".
Then click on "OK".
Now select the tab "Advanced".
Enter "587" for outgoing mail server (SMTP).
Then click on "OK".
You will return to the previous page. Click there on "Next".
Finally, click on "Finish" to complete the setup.
You can now receive and send your e-mails with Office 2007.
