You can setup a CNAME-Record as described below.
Please sign in to your customer account by clicking the "Login" button on the top right corner of our website.
Enter your username and password and click "Login"
Once you are logged in please click on "Domains" in your control panel.
In the domain overview click on the "Configuration" button next to the domain name for which you want to setup a cname-record.
On the domain detail page click on "checkdomain nameserver".
In the appearing screen you can set the CNAME-Record under DNS records.
Name: is the subdomain for example "name" (without the period at the end).
Type: select CNAME as kind of forwarding.
Value: Specify which target is to be achieved: "target-domain.com".
If required, you can additionally set the "TTL" or the "priority" for each entry.
Confirm your settings by click on "Save".
After setup the record it might take up to 6 hours until the record is effective.
