In this manual you will learn how to prepare a provider change from Domain Factory to checkdomain.
Sign in to the members area of Domain Factory.
In the order overview that now appears, click on "Manage order" for the domain you want to transfer to us.
In the domain overview that then appears, click on the "Cancel domain" button in the lower menu.
You will now be taken to the cancellation overview. Click on the text "Edit" on the right.
Next, select "Deletion" and the " Expiration Date" from the pull-down menu that appears.
Confirm the selection by clicking on the text "Apply" on the right.
Next, click on the "Continue to check" button in the lower menu.
Confirm the cancellation of the domain by entering your customer menu password and the Captcha code displayed.
Finally, select "Execute cancellation" in the lower menu.
You will now receive an e-mail confirming your cancellation and, if necessary, the necessary authcode for the transfer of your domain.
After you have received the authcode, you can start the transfer of the domain via the order process on www.checkdomain.net/en .
Important: For some domain extensions, such as .com/.net/.org or most nTLDs, an additional confirmation of the transfer is required.
