Core FTP is a free FTP client.
For example, it offers:
Drag&Drop, direct display of files that can be edited directly in the program.
Transfers can be resumed after interruption, and firewalls are also supported.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to install Core FTP.
First, download Core FTP from the provider's website:
Once you have downloaded the program, start the program.
When you start the program, the installation process is started.
You will be shown the following screen:
Click on "Next".
Now you see the following screen with the readme file:
Click here again on "Next".
You will be asked where you want to install the FTP program.
Please select the directory where you want to install your programs.
This is mostly e.g. "C:/Programs/CoreFTP".
After entering the desired directory, click on "Next".
You will now be asked if you want to change the settings for the program elsewhere as in the installation directory. You do not have to change anything here. Therefore click on "Next".
Now you are asked whether a folder should be created in the start menu.
There is no need to change anything. Therefore click on "Next".
You will now see the following screen:
Click on "Next" to start the installation.
The installation program will now install the FTP program. After the installation please start the program (Core FTP).
