Cyberduck is an open source FTP program for the Mac, that is easy to use.
In this guide, you will learn how to set up Cyberduck for Mac, to be able to connect to your FTP server.
Please note that in order to use an FTP program, must have a webhosting package with us. (FTP access data).
Start the program "Cyberduck". In our example it is the Version 4.2.1.
After the start you will see the following screen:
Now click on the button "New connection".
Now enter your FTP access data, which you will receive via email.
(your access data for the domain ...).
We have used the following data in our example:
Domain name: www.mustermann.de
Login: mustermann
Password: 123456
If completed, it would look as follows: (Please note, that you enter your access data and not our example data).
To set up a connection via "FTPES" (explicit encryption), choose for server type "FTP-SSL (Explicit AUTH TLS)".
Then click on the "Connect" button to complete the setup.
